At the same time, on the IFC site, the biggest concern for large LCD screen is still the price. Industry insiders have said that 65 inch products have been basically on the "cabbage price", and can basically get panel resources with cost price; 75-85 inch products also need to "confirm orders in advance" from now on to become the size of large quantities of spot products. In particular, 75 inches has shown a cost trend to replace 65 inches.
Under the premise of price decline and supply improvement, 85 inch IFC exhibition has become the basic flagship configuration. Most of the participating manufacturers, such as TCL, regard 85 inch as the standard product of smart conference solutions. This kind of products can be compared with the projection products of small and medium-sized meeting rooms in terms of picture size, and they are not afraid of the influence of ambient light. Especially with nano silver or in-cell touch technology, the writing sense is also very good.
Therefore, the industry believes that the rapid development of LCD's commercial and engineering market is a robust model for technology upgrading and price cost reduction. This application category can maintain effective growth for at least three or four years.
Differential application, broadening LCD engineering display value
In the technical progress of LCD products, two unique advantages must be mentioned: first, the frame of ordinary, non splicing screen is becoming narrower and narrower. Industry experts believe that maintaining the thickness of the frame below 5mm is now a universal technology. This brings convenience to the application of quasi splicing of any LCD. At the same time, LCD products with a minimum gap of 0.5mm have entered the high-end splicing wall market.
Second, the screen size of differentiation is increasing day by day. TCL, for example, shows strip "sign" products. Large aspect ratio makes the product have special application value. This kind of product can be cut by special production line or mixed with large-size panel. It can be made of glass substrate with original leftover material. Differential size screen is becoming a new focus of LCD commercial display and engineering application.
"One of the characteristics of flat panel displays such as LCD is the 'different' shape!" Experts at the meeting pointed out that in recent years, there have been a lot of "unique shape" display screens, whether mobile screen or vehicle display. In fact, from a technical point of view, LCD and OLED display can cut various shapes of display products: the only prerequisite is to have a certain scale of demand - because each LCD production line has a large capacity.
"All kinds of differentiated display devices are important windows for panel products to participate in the engineering display industry - this will also open up a broader LCD commercial display market beyond the" conference room ", said the industry manufacturers, who believe that the value of LCD in IFC should not be limited to the two subdivisions of splicing wall and conference room, but should become a kind of creative display and ubiquitous screen.
Of course, the most mature application of LCD on IFC today is splicing wall and conference room. These are two traditional engineering display markets, representing rapid market growth. However, this does not prevent the LCD from developing a wider application space on this basis - the commercial super price tag has become a potential growth point of widespread concern.
